Agreed. The problem is, the opposition needs leaders that are not tied to the government. However, they will be summarily rounded up and imprisoned. The advantage Mousavi and Karroubi have – even though they are tied to the establishment – is that they can remain free and continue giving the opposition some form of leadership.
