As a point of fact IT’S THE SAME WAR. Islam is at war with everyone that isn’t Muslim. It a requirement of their religion. Muslims see the world as being two ‘houses’. The house of Islam
‘Dar as-Salam’ and ‘dar al-Harb’ or house of war.

Islam has been at war with the rest of the world since day one. The war starts and stops, waxes and wanes according to how strong the Dar as-Salam is at that point in history. It won’t end until either Islam rules everywhere or Islam doesn’t exist. Period. One house will live, one house will die.
One the positive side, Muslims are VERY weak. The Religion itself is non-hierarchical, which makes for what by western standards is pretty much a non-structured society. There is structure, but it isn’t as strong as western civilization and as a result, doesn’t produce good soldiers. Fine warriors, but poor soldiers.
IMHO, the most significant development to come out of Iraq will be teaching the Iraqi’s the difference between a soldier and a warrior.Judging from the way the IA is tearing up the militias and AQ, they have learned well.
The Iraqi militia was being trained, equipped and supported by the Quds Force, which is joined at the hip with Hezzbollah. The same Hezzebollah that kicked the Israeli’s a$$ a year or so ago.
