If you are born a Muslim, you ARE a Muslim. Period. Denying Islam doesn’t change your status as a Muslim, it just means your head will be cut off as soon as some other Muslims get their hands on you.
You can deny Mohammed and Allah, but you are STILL a Muslim. Sorry folks, but that is a fact, according to the laws of Islam.
One of the biggest problems between Western Civilization and Islamic civilization is that Christians think Islam is just like Christianity only the names are changed. Nothing could be more wrong then that. Christianity is sort of a Lazy religion. Islam isn’t.

Last time I researched this, I found a ruling from an 18th century Shir’ia court on the subject, that to the best of my knowledge, still stands. I can’t find it now, I have forgotten what question I asked to get me there.
