I don’t care if Obama was a Muslim or wasn’t. Personally, I do care about his character, which has been shown to be deficient in his handling of the entire Rev. Wright debacle, and his many gaffes. He’s a self-absorbed politician who stands for nothing other than being elected President.
Still, that’s nothing particularly new.
Can we get back to the issues and ideas, and argue those instead? I’m sick of smear politics and general incivility in political discourse. Just because the target changes from Bush to Obama doesn’t make it any more palatable.
