There may come a day, however, when you cannot, for you lack the strength or wherewithal. There are no atheists in the foxhole. When you fall on hard times, when your back is to the wall, when you have reached bottom, then such a proud man as you will cry out to your Maker for succor.
Perhaps it will be a sick or injured child which will bring you to your knees. When there is nothing more you can possibly do, when it is beyond your power, what will you do? You will humble yourself and turn to God in your desperation. Will you be too proud then? Will you allow your child to die because you will not try everything, including prayer? How overweening is your pride, you foolish, proud man?
Just curious about one thing: When the sex is really good, do you cry out to God or Darwin?
