Saying we shouldn’t invade in 2002 and then saying we shouldn’t pull out in 2004 somehow represents a change in position? How? It’s not a change, a pivot or a shift.
But now he is adamant that he will pull out immediately, with no pre-conditions and regardless of consequence. So we shouldn’t invade in 2002, shouldn’t pull out in 2004, must pull out in 2008. No change, pivots or shifts here!
