I am not sure there is any real difference between the king of Jordan, king of Saudi Arabia, king… sorry president of Egypt or president of Azerbaijan. They all tend to leave the countries to their heirs and they are all dictators of sorts. The fact that good king is better than bad democracy is indisputable too. The problem with good kings is that they are rare and will always be followed by bad ones, while democracy has a chance of self improvement (as well as self destruction unfortunately). Of course Bible is not a property of Republicans, but mentioning it out of topic is very Democratic way of holding a discussion.
