But I still say that pursuing this line will get you nowhere. Using Occam’s razor works today like it did back in the Middle Ages. It has the advantage of generating clear arguments. Here is where the shifting anti war stances come in handy. You don’t have to assume a conspiracy to defraud the government. All you have to assume is the desire to imitate and to please the anti war intellectuals and Obama’s shifting opinions fall into place.
