The article was about the 2008 election. It was not about a special election to replace a resigning congressman. (By the way, the caucusses to nominate candidates to replace Mark Souder was closed-door and involved party insiders only. The only other one in recent memory, to replace the deceased Julia Carson, was the same way.)

The author of the article said she had eyewitness accounts of people being bussed in from out of state to participate in the Indiana caucusses. Unless it’s a simple matter of the author mistyping the state (perhaps she meant Iowa), that one sentence is enough to throw doubt on the veracity of the rest of her facts.

That doesn’t mean the Obama campaign was squeaky clean. It simply means this article probably shouldn’t be used as proof of corruption.
