Communism has repeatedly proven throughout history to lead to the deaths of millions. In Russia Stalin murdered approximately 20 million through purges and famine. In China millions died in the 1960 again though famine. In North Korea, people are poor and starving. In Cambodia the Khmer Rouge murdered so many people the Vietnamese were appalled and found it necessary to step in. In all of those cases a central state tells people where and how to live. What professions they may or may not enter — and imprisons or executes those who do not agree with them or who try to leave.
In the U.S. the very liberal Nancy Pelosi has called for investigations of those who are opposed to building a mosque on the bones of Ground Zero. I could bring up multiple other examples of the abuse of state power by the left, but I’m at work and have more important things to do.
