Aren’t quote-unquote Muslims attempting to use western court systems multi-cultural bias against us by suing that they are allowed to say, beat their wives as part of their religion, and according to Sharia law. Didn’t the Bishop of Canterbury once say that England may well have to accept some portions of Sharia law? I agree with this post’s author. To trivialize Sharia simply because it wasn’t employed historically is to be ignorant of the huge push by the current practitioners. France, England, Canada, and the United States are all dealing with court challenges of Sharia law. It’s not an Orientalized fantasy, it’s the Modus Operandi of the current sect of Islam.
