Since the purpose of education is to teach children how to think, it is necessary to begin by teaching them the truth.
Teaching children that some people believe one thing, while others believe something else, and still more demand proof rather than belief is the only acceptable ~Truth~ since the rest is just opinion.
Teach children to take the facts and deduce the rest.
Leave the teaching of religions, superstitious rituals etc. to those whose job it is: The shamans of each religion. Ideological propaganda does not belong in schools.
