You just don’t get it. This country was able to thrive and prosper from it’s use of free labor. That is a major factor in our capitalist democracy. There are many U.S. companies that benefited and started directly from that labor. So not only did individuals and families generate wealth but it was a huge tax revenue. And yes I know all whites didn’t benefit financially. But they all were able to use all the public institutions available from that labor.
With that said yes things are much better than they were. And simple prejudice we can live with. But there are still racist groups who donate money to abortion clinics specifically to abort minority babies. Thats racism. It’s still out there. And I don’t mean the imagined or wishful racism of Ms. Berry. You people really have a broad definition of racism. Stop trying to cloud racism. there are no degrees of racism. Racist, prejudice, bias, and bigot have different definitions. learn them. And Michelle if anything is biased. In her thesis where are the whites are inferior parts or the go back to Europe parts or the clean the pool whitey was swimming parts?
Our history is us. I wish they would teach more of it. So when a person meets a person like you they don’t walk away confused. (vvv)
