Michelle Obama is not a racist. She is a Black woman in America dealing with race. The more people try to paint Michelle as some black radical the more it becomes apparent that white people simply don’t understand the black experience and its complexity.
You can be a proud American and still not trust or be unhappy with government. You can be open to diversity and still place importance on preserving and immersing yourself in black culture.
Michelle Obama is not going to fit into mainstream’s cookie cutter of what the all american happy wife of the candidate or what a good american is period. Because she is a real person.
