Say that Washington D.C. does away with gun control for citizens of proven probity. (no police or juvie records).
Then, say that there are ten houses on a street.
Four or five heads of household decide to buy guns for self-protection.
Do you think that thieves or thugs, not knowing who does and doesn’t have a gun will take a chance on getting shot? I think not.
