I am astonished by the knowledge level of the commenters here on all things Muslim, however do you commenters have any actual experience with Muslims? You can’t cut Dr. Jasser a break? I have traveled extensively through Muslim countries and it is abundantly clear that in places like Malaysia and Indonesia it is entirely possible to be a moderate, passive Muslim. Typically, Muslims in this part of the world (the majority of Muslims in the world) will immediately apologize to me for their fellow Muslims’ terrorism when they find out I am an American. It has happened many times. We need to sort out the Wahhabism of the Arabs from the entirety of the Muslims. This strain of Islamism clearly needs to be resisted.
Christians were pretty barbaric as a whole until quite recently in historical terms. Change takes time. As the world progresses economically, more Muslims will moderate. Dr. Jasser is in the vanguard. He should be supported rather than denigrated.
