Irrationality with regards to cursing certainly does seem to be the norm. It wasn’t ten years ago that ‘b****’ and ‘@ss’ were no-nos on network TV. Is the f-word next? If my own children have anything to say about it…but for the moment, the neighbor kids aren’t allowed to come around due to extensive experimentation.
Amy: A noticeable ‘lack of fire’ in the corrected version, I’d say, but worse, a different meaning than the first. That’s a shame.
