Wonderful pitch for the moon! I’ll echo Andrew Pass’ comment above–I’m not a scientist, just a geek for space exploration. Thank you for writing this, because my guess is that most non-scientists wouldn’t read this sort of material from a regular astronomy wonk.
Buzz Aldrin, you and the others are my heroes. You’re America’s and all of mankind’s heroes.
My 8 year-old daughter wants to someday go to the moon (or Mars!), and it’s because of you and the other Apollo and Gemini astronauts. I only wish I could go myself! I have nothing brilliant to add here–I just want to say thank you.
