I have spent hours reading all the comments here to get an overview of opionions about this topic.
Political Correctness (which is destroying this country) is the reason most people don’t consider blacks to be racists. However, anyone who can read Michelle Obama’s comments and NOT think she is racist is so completely engulfed in PC, they can’t think outside THAT box. Sometimes being truthful will raise the hackles on those obcessed with PC. For one, I am so sick of it (PC), I could scream. SOMETIMES WE JUST HAVE TO TELL IT AS IT REALLY IS!!!!! She is a racist!
Some has mentioned that her theisis was written over 20 years ago. That is one very good point. If she can’t see that racism (whites to blacks) is better than it was 20 years and adjust her thinking, SHE is the one who is wrong. I have worked with black people with whom I have a great working relationship with and then have overheard them talking with others of their own race talking about how bad whites are. I always wondered where this was coming from. Now I know. It is from the black churches. The hate they are apparently preaching is no less destructive than hate preached in mosques. In fact, it is MORE destructive, because it destroys from within.
Regardless of the unity BO talks about in prepared speeches, his and his wife’s actions indicate something totally different. They hate white people and Republicans. From some of the quotes I have read, I feel like a win by him would be the beginning of a socialist dictatorship, since we have a Democratic congress to put a rubber stamp on all his ideas. By the time they realize what they have helped create, it will be too late.
Katherine, keep on telling us like it is, even if some don’t consider it PC. They have drunk the kool-ade and won’t believe it till it is too late. Others, who aren’t so closed-minded, will understand what you are saying and keep us away from a future of disaster.
