Terror Ties: Ground Zero Imam Attended Hizb-ut Tahrir Conference (Corrected)
It’s really disappointing how the alphabet channels have been covering this whole issue. Some of the journalists’ ignorance on display, concerning the Islamic faith, is stunning. These individuals have no idea what the building of this mosque, in that location, represents. Symbolism is a very important aspect of Islam. This aspect goes completely over the heads of these so-called reporters. They have bought into the politically correct, false image of Islam; the as names “Religion of Peace.”
When you read history, after Muslim hordes had conquered a society and destroyed any vestiges of the citizens houses of worship, they immediately begin constructing Mosques to replace those facilities. What is going on with the Ground Zero Mosque is the EXACT SAME THING. The symbolism of this mosque, if completed, represents the Muslims victory (in their minds) on 9/11/01. If this group is able to finish construction in time, their plan is to dedicate it on 9/11/11, ten years after the tragedy. Boy, what a coincidence :sarcasm:
I look at it like this: the opponents against this proposed mosque are not against those who want to worship the Muslim ideology. The building of the mosque isn’t the issue. The issue is location, location, location. Its extremely offensive to those who lost their lives, and We the People who were effected by those tragic events. If these financiers behind the mosque are all worried about sensitivities, they can build it somewhere else. But they don’t. It is intended to be provocative. It would be like the United States building a museum dedicated to the ingenuity of scientists creating the atom bomb, located in Nagasaki, Japan.
