Here’s the strategy: If you create a bogeyman in the USA, then the typical (mindless) Zeropean will look to Brussels for protection and salvation. It’s an old federalist strategy. Just look to our own late 18th and early 19th c. Washington DC propaganda urging states to surrender more and more to the central government. And there’s no bigger mouthpiece for Brussels than the BBC. It’s worked very very well.
