It should be remembered that Mr. Jim Zogby is in the employ of the Saudis. Though a self professed Christian Arab, he nevertheless always tows the pro-Jihad pro-Islam line, and suffuses his political view with the typical boilerplate anti-American blather.
I have traveled the world, and while there are many wonderful places in it, and wonderful people too, the world is also filled to overflowing with bitter, evil, and incompetent societies and governments. Corruption elsewhere, almost everywhere, makes the storied American corruption the Left loves to trumpet to the world look downright saintly. Most of the rest of the world craves what we have here, and loathes us because they can’t face the truth about their own staggering failures when compared to our staggering successes. They’d rather hate us than fix their attitudes. But in the end, the entire world emulates us when the opportunity affords itself. They insult is to our face, and turn around and flatter us by imitating us in secret. Pitiful, but true.
If we were nearly as bad as all those America-loathing non-Americans would have us believe, we’d spend zero time worrying about their opinions, and 100% of our time humiliating them for their failures. Instead, we worry about their opinions, and spend vast treasures in time and money and even blood teaching them how to be better at everything.
