Charlie (CO) likely ’nuff said but I’d like to go ahead and extend appreciation for Marys’ wording on her final sentence. I am certain that too much was spent on asking the disaffected in whichever countries were surveyed. I find the “findings” curious.

A few years after Viet Nam I found myself (still on active-then not) travelling in many of the areas CENTCOM now oversees and made some friends, many acquaintances. Except for those few folks (of course this is an “age thing” mainly) we still keep in touch occasionally. Anti-Americanism doesn’t seem to be a problem as far as I’m concerned although those I keep in touch with realize the US isn’t really interested in being a contestant in any popularity contests.

And as far as the US education system being to blame-some credence here of course-but if one goes in with open eyes and develops critical thinking skills, all the commie socialist nincompoops in Academia can’t make the entire student body mirror themselves.

Hey Congress! Please spend my tax dollars on getting something tangible done.
