What the World Isn’t Being Told about the Israeli-Lebanese Border Incident
Clearly a UNIFIL-aided provocation. Hard to say what motivates the US to supply the LAF. Well, it’s either 1) try to help the ‘moderates’ within Lebanon, who have already lost; 2) squeeze Israel to make it more malleable on other issues.
The US under Obama gives large aid to Hamas, er, to ‘Gaza’, builds up the PA police forces (against Hamas, in theory, against Israel, in the most likely scenario), goes nuts over building in Jewish Jerusalem, and now the Lebanese gambit. Whether people like Geller and Spencer are right that this is an Islamic-Taqiya agenda or whether this is just the old-school Arabists taking over US ME policy – GHW Bush on steroids – this is dire.
Ken Besig, sorry, it’s up to Israel to deal with this, not to allow this to go on. Terry, appreciate your sentiments. Do pro-Israel Americans understand how average Israelis feel at this point? Do they care?
