I don’t have a dog in this fight. I’m a Republican who doesn’t like McCain and would never vote for either Obama or Clinton. I can see no meaningful difference in their positions. Both would run away from Iraq as soon as possible. Both would open the border and support amnesty for illegal aliens. Both would raise taxes. Both would pander to any ethnic, racial, religious or gender group that might provide a few votes. The only substantial difference is whether it would be more historic to elect a woman or a Black. The only thing that the reaction to Ms Marsh supporting Obama proves is what I’ve known for years, Democrats are very good haters. The passion and venom on the left is unmatched by anything on the right. Not even the most ardent McCain supporter looks on any of the Democrats or their voters with the contempt that fellow Democrats regularly show.
Have fun in Denver. If you don’t tear each other apart, your bastard step child, recreate68, will be there to demonstrate the true character of the Democratic Party. I’m looking forward to it.
