On primary day in New Hampshire, a Gloria Steinem op ed in the New York Times told readers that Obama was young and could run for President in eight years. It was Hillary’s turn.
Sure enough, Hillary won NH. Causal connection? Coincidence? I can’t really tell because the Gloria Steinem column though widely read by feminists went uncommented on by pollsters and columnists.
Racism and sexism will end just as soon as we do away with stupidity and ignorance; i.e. never. Iowa was the high point of post racial America, but then Reverend Wright stunned white America by showing that not only Black Muslims hated whites and America, Some Black Christians did too. Father Pfleger was more of the same B “Liberation Theology” but he also took on Hillary and chasms formed between the races and the sexes.
When people become angry, they reach for the most wounding words they can think of. There’s been a lot of that in this campaign and there will be much more.
Hillaryites will use any verbal weapons they can find against Obama and I plan to help them with all the opposition research I can find because I think Obama is THE most dangerous leftist to ever run for President.
Obama’s a liar (google 28 Obama Lies and by all means visit his Fight The Smear site. The allegations he doesn’t answer are most telling) and a fraud: he’s actually an Arab-American. Yes, Dad was born in Africa but Dad was 87.5% Arab. and then there’s Odinga, his cousin in Kenya and the Christian men, women and children locked in a church and burned to death. (google Odinga Obama) and an empty suit lost without a teleprompter (Obama in Bristol, VA on Youtube).
Obama has the mainstream media on his side. We have the Internet, talk radio and Fox News. Obama has a blissed out segment of the population that may or may not come out of its trance but there aren’t enough blissies for him to win.
McCain may not have soaring rhetoric on his side but it was his fight for the surge in Iraq that turned the war around. Obama hasn’t even been to Iraq in almost 900 days nor has he ever met with General Petraeus. Commander In Chief? I think not. McCain risked his candidacy to do the right thing. That says a lot.
McCain also has a long history of being a porkbuster which President Bush has not been. As President, he would veto pet projects out of the budget. He’s “the sheriff” not Miss Congeniality.
