What kind of an uproar would there be if the families of Timothy McVeigh, Terry Nichols and their friends sued to build a memorial to the convicted bombers at the Murrah Building site in Oklahoma City?
Why is this mosque any different?
Islam has frequently taken sites sacred to other civilizations and religions and turned them into Muslim edifices, sometimes even off limits to the previous residents and worshippers.
I’ve read that this is also part of the Cordoba project (9/11 mosque plan).
