I’m sorry, but I take no comfort in your essay. The mosque will be built, and I am not optimistic enough to believe that there will be any scrutiny whatsoever regarding what will be taught within its walls or who will fund its programs. Color me disgusted, ashamed, and too poor to travel to NYC to protest.
