Your post made me think of something Abe Lincoln said (paraphrase):
“The reason we need to go to war is because there is a class of men living in the South for whom life is nothing but hunting, drinking and fighting.”
Lincoln’s war goal was to destroy that culture. That principle must be implemented again and we must destroy the infrastructure of the society that enables these men to carry on as they do, day after day.
If Lincoln wasn’t worried about the moral reprecussions of destroying an entire culture, why should any of us be?
