I hope the Democrats choke on their record. In less than two years they have managed to throw us into unbelievable debt with precious little results to show for it. The “stimulus” was basically a payout to union workers in various states and it allowed state governments to temporarily avoid the inevitable, which was to balance their own budgets. California is finding out right now that aid from Washington does nothing unless the underlying cause of the disaster is addressed, which is runaway spending.
Now the “stimulus” money is gone and where are all those “shovel-ready” jobs Obama promised? Why hasn’t the stimulus kept unemployment to their promised 8% cap rather than the almost 10% that it is right now? Obama bailed out GM, Chrysler, and gave even more bailout money to AIG, and what has it gotten us? Oh yes, the Chevy Volt, an expensive crappy car nobody is going to buy that will also be subsidized by the taxpayer, or YOU! When did we agree to subsidize other people’s cars? Even the “cash for clunkers” promotion only proved to be a temporary boost, which all of these measures are. And will we ever see any of these loans paid back from GM, Chrysler, or AIG? Sure, just like we’ll see that the health care bill will actually bring medical costs down and not up.
The great thing about November is that you don’t have to exaggerate anything when fighting the democrats. All you have to do is tell the truth and show the facts. Americans are not dumb. They no things are bad and that the economy is only getting worse. And let’s not even talk about Obama’s foreign policy. That will only make the democrats look worse.
November is coming and I hope it makes 1994 look like a “victory” for the democrats. They loved Obama, they blindly followed Obama, they voted for all of his insane big-spending bills, and they embraced Obama’s socialist agenda. NO THEY ARE STUCK WITH HIM.
