Something like that. I passed a cop car that made a U-Turn across a double yellow line. He pulled me over and asked for my license and reg. He said I failed to use a signal to change lanes. Mind you I’m in a convertible and no other traffic was nearby on a two lane avenue. He was an arrogant asshole. He breaks the damn law and I get lectured!!! Cops break the law all the time! They drive on the wrong side of the road run red lights as if they don’t exist. A lady friend told me her client is a cop and he speeds on the highway knowing he won’t get a ticket. NYPD gives tickets for seatbelts like they’re going out of style. I guess gubmint ineptitude is partially to blame. Since they can’t balance a budget they have to collect revenue some way. Now I’m a middle aged white man imagine the hassle Blacks and Hispanics are getting! The Stop and Search law has recently been removed by Gov Paterson. Thousands of innocent civilians have been frisked by the police. This is the most disgusting act am American can endure. Imagine yourself being stopped by a cop sheerly by the cop’s will. Imagine the paranoia that is created everytime you walk down the street. This makes the Arizona law child’s play. I’ll stop you for absolutely no valid reason whatsoever and frisk you because I THINK you might commit a crime. Where was the ACLU on this? This is most heinous. This is not America. This is GESTAPOLAND!!!!
