my god, most of you sound utterly ridiculous. it just eats you up that michelle was a bright student who excelled at not one, but two elite institutions and had the gall to point out that she felt like an outsider, doesn’t it? i’ll type this in a way that i hope you can understand. an. ivy. league. degree. DOES. NOT. exempt. one. from. racism. got that? DOES. NOT.(for women, it doesn’t always exempt them sexism). nor does it improve the plight of a WHOLE group, especially when that group has historically and continues to be at an economic and social disadvantage. what exactly has she done that deserves the title of racist? telling the truth that some white people suck? (eloquently of course)should she grovel before the people who, despite her impressive pedigree and accomplishments, imagine themselves better than her? people are a trip. they don’t have a pot to pee in, poor and uneducated (lacking book smarts and common sense), yet they’ll look down on others because all they have to cling to is their race. i’d laugh, but i sense your paranoia is quite real, leading you to make these crazy remarks , so i’ll pray for you instead. the heck with it, i’m still going to laugh at you because scary, stupid white people are a source of amusement to my friends and me. carry on.
