Indeed, personal firearms will not prevent tyranny if the majority of the country decides that’s what they want. The only real guard against tyranny in the long term is for those of us who love our freedom and understand that it comes from government protection of individual rights to convince others that (1) government control of guns, medicine, banking, schools, etc. leads to tyranny and that (2) tyranny is bad for them.
