Writing for PJM Helped Make Me Enemy of the State Number #38
The thing that scares me about the AGW hoax is that there *are* things we can and have done to permanently damage the environment (e.g. extinctions). I worry about deforestation, for instance, and wish there was someone studying whether there is an objective “point of no return” that we need to stay far away from. But all the grant money is in the AGW hoax, so precious little real environmental science gets done.
I used to contribute to Nature Conservancy, whose focus was on solid research to efficiently protect biodiversity, but they’ve jumped on the AGW bandwagon.
I loved “Garbage” magazine, a very politically incorrect environmental journal edited by Patricia Poore, which mysteriously stopped publishing late ’90s (my subscription was changed to “Outdoor” magazine). I haven’t found out what happened to her yet.
