“I cannot believe that the individual health care consumer can enforce through choice the proper configurations of a system as massive and complex as health care. That is for leaders to do.”
I would laugh, but it’s no laughing matter.
So many liberals in power remind me of an episode of the Twilight Zone where a platoon of men had been together in battles all over the pacific. In the very last moments of the war, a new Lieutenant comes on the scene and orders them to charge a cave that isn’t even a necessary objective. He’s so full of himself, and eager to countermand any suggestions of the far more experienced sergeant. He just wants blood and guts so he can make a name for himself.
May God have mercy on us from the academic bureaucrats.
