Not sure I would venture into any no-go area without being accompanied by a few friends. Or perhaps, more than a few.
Gun laws. We are told by the anti gun lobby guns are the problem. The UN through its Millennium Goals wants all small arms to be confiscated from all people.
Yeah, right! First, criminals are the problem folks. Do good gun owners go bad, sure! So do car drivers, drinkers, & many others. That is no reason to disarm & give the nation over to armed criminals, who you can bet will not surrender their arms, small or otherwise.
The UN is pushing its world socialist order concept that we all embrace a one world order or government. Of course, the UN would be armed. Yeah, right! (After all, they are so pure!)
In the end, we give up rights by not standing up & refusing to do so. We give up freedoms when we allow others to break our laws & do nothing, or submit to their demands we submit to “their” law.
The author is correct that we (Great Britain,
America, & any other freedom loving nation), must stand up for our law, our rights, and not allow others to force us to obey “their law.”
Hate speech crimes, are a fool’s errand. Almost any speech could be misconstrued to be hate speech. Its all in the eye, ear, brain, of the supposedly offended.
I despise fascism, socialism, & other forms of political & social repression. But I defend the followers rights to express their love of it. The KKK message to modern society is branded as despicable as they come. BUT.. it is their right to say & believe what they want, so long as they do not try to force others to capitulate to their way of life.
I may not like what they say, but I defend their right to say it! I may not believe their philosophy, but again, I defend their right to believe what they want.
Any time we permit others to define what we can say, believe, or where we may or may not go, we surrender to those who would oppress us. Any time we give control of our lives to government, via laws, regulations, & other socio-political actions, we surrender our own personal freedoms. Some we do so for the sake of all society & rational people understand this. But, some others are deliberately designed to force us to comply to the wishes of those seeking power & wealth.
