I know I’ll be called a foul racist for posting this, but I’m not.
While I agree the immigration issue is not as black & white as many say, there are a number of things we can do:
1) A real, honest to God, physical fence backed up by authority to use ANY means (including deadly force) to stop the flow.
2) Deportation. I know we can’t get rid of, let’s say 12 million illegals all at once. But once a fence is up, we can star bailing out the boat. Ten 747 flights a day at 300 people per flight is 3,000 people per day. Multiply that by 365 days per year is 1,095,000. In eleven years you have solved the current influx. Include the families so they are not broken up.
3) A ten year moratorium on ALL immigration. This will let us get our house in order.
4) To legally immigrate you must:
a) Have a skill
b) Have no criminal record (felonies or worse)
c) Be healthy (no politically correct diseases)
d) Want to assimilate (No bringing in a culture you are moving away from)
e) Have a sponsor
f) No government aid, except to help you learn English and become a citizen
g) If you know English, you get points to move up.
None of these are unreasonable, or unacheivable.
