Feminists aren’t the ones who advocate hookups and casting women as sexual objects. That’s popular culture for you. Feminists are about choice: the choice of career or staying at home. It’s just about empowering women to make our own decisions in life.
I’m suspicious about those happiness studies too. The goal of my life is not to be obliviously cheerful at every moment. Life has its ups and downs. I think feminism made me happier, honestly.
This article treats women as if we’re stupid dupes who are led around on a leash by men, as if we’re children who can’t make choices and start movements on our own.
Try relationship equality sometime. We women don’t need to be treated like babies.
Anyway, that’s my bit.
