The Chinese people have a terrible history of barbarism once strictures are lifted.
I will never forget a piece on TV showing how criminals were executed in Communist China. A group of executioners were each assigned a column of victims. They started at the same time putting bullets in the backs of the heads of the kneeling prisoners and ran down the column executing each one in turn.
Few humans are immune from murderous behavior once they believe that it is the “right” thing to do. Even “OK” can be permission enough. “He stepped on my property!” “He ‘dissed’ me!” Please recall the Stanley Milgram experiments of the 1960s and ’70s.
It is for the foregoing reason – permission – that Islam, not Muslims, is to blame for jihadi behavior. The historical religion gives Muslims permission to subjugate and kill.
