Did we forget our own (USA) government’s conduct toward the Danish cartoons? It was universal condemnation of the authors. Did anyone notice how brave the US newpapers were during that episode? If we neglect man’s nature (required to be free to think in order to live) and expect the writings of our founders to guard us from this cannibalism, we’re doomed.
