The following is a comment that I wrote (to which I have here made some clarifying and typographical corrections) to Professor Landes in a post that Prof. Landes posted on the Augean Stables (http://www.theaugeanstables.com/2010/07/12/swallowing-the-bitter-pill-a-comment-from-an-islamophobe/) which Prof. Landes posted in response to the comment posted on this post by commenter Ian Slade (whom I refer to as “that commenter”, in my comment).
Professor Landes,
Please stop being so timid and appeasingly “universalist” and overly generous about people such as that commenter.
People such as that commenter are primarily motivated not by fear of genocidally anti-Jewish political movements – which the current huge one today is the modern Islamic-Supremacist political movement.
People such as that commenter are primarily motivated by bigoted antipathetic views that they hold about, and antipathy that they feel toward, the country of the Jewish people.
They have been brainwashed by the sea and tsunami of lies – the overwhelming propaganda – about the situation – which is a sea and tsunami of lies that vilifies Israel and that obfuscates the reality of the situation and that utterly falsifies the factual history of the situation – the 90 year intendedly genocidal Islamic-Supremacist and Arab supremacist, and colluding Western (mainly European (mainly British)), military, diplomatic, terroristic, and propagandic war against the country of the Jewish people.
People such as the commenter are blinded by the bigoted antipathetic views that they hold about, and antipathy that they feel towards, the country of the Jewish people, Israel.
The number of people in Western countries who hold the bigoted wrong views about the situation that that commenter does is huge, and includes leaders of governments of Western countries. The reason that the number of people who hold those bigoted wrong views is huge is because of the mass-indoctrination with lies – which is made possible because of, and would not be possible without – the utter lack of non-appeasing, honest, accurate, clear communication – speech – verbal defense – public relations – diplomacy – by Israeli government officials.
Israeli government officials need to realize that the war that is being waged against Israel, and which is a war that the government of Israel needs to fight against, is not mainly a physical war. It is mainly a war of communication.
Israeli leaders need to destroy the false narrative about the history and current reality of the situation.
Israeli leaders need to stop falsely confessing and appeasing and need to stop aiding and colluding with the racist genocidal leaders of the racist genocidally anti-Jewish anti-Israeli political organizations Fatah-PLO-PalestinianAuthority and Hamas.
Israeli leaders have been falsely confessing and acting with delusional harmful appeasing actions and have been aiding and colluding the racist genocidal leaders of the racist genocidally anti-Jewish anti-Israeli political organizations Fatah-PLO-PalestinianAuthority and Hamas.
Israeli leaders have been doing so do appeasingly – out their having internalized lies about the history and current reality of the situation, and out of timidity toward the bigoted ignorant craven anti-Israeli Western leaders – and out of, involved with that, wrongly acted upon compassion that they feel toward the Arab people who are today called the “Palestinian” Arab people – who are the several million of descendants of the 400,000 to 700,000 Arab refugees from the 1948 Muslim Arab self-proclaimedly intendedly genocidal genocidal attack by the armies of five Arab countries on the country of the Jewish people, Israel, lauched several days after Israel was voted into the United Nations by a majority vote (which was an attack that caused 800,000 to 1,000,000 Jewish refuges from Muslim countries in the Middle East) and who are the Jordanian Arab people in Judea and Sameria (The West Bank), which Israel took back from Jordan (which is Arab Palestine) in 1967 after the army of Israel attacked and defeated the armies of four Arab countries that had assembled along the borders of Israel in preparation to intendedly genocidally attack and invade Israel, which was an attack against Israel that had been planned and organized for over a year by, and which was led by, Soviet supporteed Soviet funded, Soviet armed, Araba Nationalist Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser.
Since 1948, after the 1948 Muslim Arab attack on Israel, until 1967, Jordan (which is Arab Palestine) occupied “The West Bank” (Judea and Sameria), and Egypt occupied the Gaza Strip.
