Ted has certainly done a good job of documenting his slavish devotion to the writings of Warren Kinsella. No doubt there’s a creche plastered with Kinsella articles in Ted’s boudoir, illuminated by flickering candles and suffused with the scent of incense.

I’m not a fan of Steyn’s work, and there’s much I disagree with. Still, the notion that he is some bitter (closeted or uncloseted) racist struck me as odd. I followed what few references I could from Ted’s posting (mostly, again, returning to his beloved Warren), and it does seem to me Steyn’s use of racially derogatory terms (when I could find them) were used to illuminate the parochial outlook of the Canadian intelligentsia (irony anyone?), and not as an insult directed to the ethnic group per se. Indeed, Ted’s first cite is a link to a site where the supposed statement comes from a critic of Steyn’s who chooses (as Ted does apparently) to interpret Steyn and then present those interpretations as actual statements Steyn never in fact made.

Good job Ted. Keep up the noble work. Sandbagging can be difficult, but you make it look so easy!
