JJ Joseph – I forgot this in my last post. The “plight” of Christians in Israel? There isn’t a plight – unless you choose to believe the fabrications of various Christian groups who think the Palestinians are lily-white. The government of the Palestinians, Hamas, prides itself on its treatment of Christians – they’re harrassed, threatened and persecuted. True – the behaviour of some of the ultra-orthodox Jews is reprehensible, but they treat secular Jews in the same way. It’s not an excuse, it’s an explanation. When are Christians not allowed to worship freely in Israel? Aren’t their holy places protected by the Israeli Government? Compare this to how Christians are treated in Muslim countries – Somalia, Indonesia. Compare this to the treatment of the Copts in Egypt – I could go on …..
