Lawlessness at the DOJ: Voting Section Told Not To Enforce Purging the Dead or Ineligible from Voting Rolls
Attempts to purge ineligible voters from roles are inherently political. In almost all such cases, the programs have discouraged eligible and registered voters from voting, have discouraged voter registrations, and depressed actual voting numbers. There are more cases of these prosecutions being dismissed for targeting the wrong people than there are of successful prosecutions.
Why should the government waste money acting like a Soviet-style government? Good call by the Justice Department.
If you don’t like, move to someplace where the voter rolls are regularly purged. Where would that be? Uzbekistan? Iran? Russia? How’s that working for them?
