I can see them setting up for a DNA test, finding the type is wrong, and everybody in rumorland conflating the positive disproof as results of the planned test. Whatever.

What’s important is that the US has to train the Iraqi’s not only how to act as a Civilized Police Force, but as an honorable Public Relations source. It’s not something that has been required of officials in the region for, well, ever probably. But they need to figure out how to become reliably truthful now, or lose their usefulness as an information source for years to come.
