This is indeed a sad indication of the future of people’s movements in the Third World. Where can we young idealistic students go to to take part in the people’s liberation, social justice, and justifying our existence? Where can we young revolutionaries now go to excercise everything our economic, history and political science professors taught us?
Chavez’s betrayal of our ideals disqualifies him from ever getting to wear a Che T-shirt ever again.
