I think Ms. Berry is actually just trying to say: Take economical steps to reduce your energy bills or stop whining about it! I’m all for increased drilling, nuclear power, new technology, etc., but those will all take awhile. In the meantime, we all have choices about how we live our life and spend our money. If you make choices that will end up costing more in the long run, don’t whine. Nothing she says in this article promotes government intervention, just common sense. We pay for the lives we choose. Just accept the consequences of the choices you make or take steps to change them. Don’t whine about it–that’s what we have liberals for!
