It’s barely reported in some of the print media, but tellingly hardly mentioned in the veiwing media, where most people get their news. And, if it is played on the big screen, it’s poorly done. Face it, our news is already censored up here on PC grounds. Even the federal Conservative Party won’t touch this with a ten foot pole. Says a lot on what their priorities are, they won’t even use this issue to crush the opposition, so as a voter I have no one to vote for.
I might point out that I would vote for a republican alternative, if it was offered to me. I will work towards one in the meantime, as my province Alberta is supposed to be “conservative” but hosts it’s own insidious AHRC, which the current premier is either afraid of, or supports it’s good work at silencing opposition to government.
By the way, our premier is looking to enact election gag laws so I’ve given up supporting that bastion of “conservative” thought.
