During Soviet show tribunals the same anti-intellectual arguements were used as evidence to send people to the gulag or worse. They said they were confusing the proliteriat. So basically what this tribunal is saying is that the Canadian people are not smart enough to read an opinionated article and think for themselves. Using the same arguement, one could justify taking away peoples voting rights for lack of enlightenment, i.e. if you don’t agree with some PC agenda. In fact, I think only those people who have been properly veted to have “appropriate” opinions should be allowed to vote.
