As one who has been around for a few years (75), I can testify to summers much warmer and longer than those we have experienced during the past 10. The year in which I was born had drought and very high temperature, so my history books and my elders told me…There was a summer in the mid 1950′s which was long and very hot…another in the 70′s, and, does anyone here remember the heat wave in the mid 90′s?
